Vendor Directory
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The vendor directory is your central hub for all external suppliers — sound companies, lighting vendors, catering, security firms, transportation, etc.
Vendor Profiles
Section titled “Vendor Profiles”Each vendor profile includes:
- Company info — Name, address, contacts
- Services — What they provide (sound, lighting, catering, etc.)
- Compliance documents — Insurance certificates, licenses, tax documents
- Payment terms — Default payment terms for this vendor
- Ratings — Performance ratings from past events
- Event history — Every event they’ve worked
Adding a Vendor
Section titled “Adding a Vendor”- Go to Vendors (under People in the sidebar)
- Click Add Vendor
- Fill in company details and services
- Optionally invite them to the Vendor Portal for self-service access
Compliance Tracking
Section titled “Compliance Tracking”Track required documents for each vendor:
- Public liability insurance
- Workers’ compensation
- Business licenses
- Tax registration (e.g., RUT/SII in Chile)
Producit alerts you when vendor documents are expiring or missing. You can block PO creation for non-compliant vendors.
Vendor Ratings
Section titled “Vendor Ratings”After each event, rate vendors on quality, reliability, and communication. Over time, this helps you make better procurement decisions and identify your best partners.
