Artist Settlements
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Settlements handle the financial close-out with artists after an event. Producit supports the deal structures common in live entertainment:
Deal Types
Section titled “Deal Types”Flat Fee
Section titled “Flat Fee”A fixed amount paid to the artist regardless of ticket sales.
- Example: Artist receives $10,000 regardless of attendance
Guarantee + Percentage
Section titled “Guarantee + Percentage”A guaranteed minimum plus a share of revenue above a threshold.
- Example: $8,000 guarantee + 85% of gross after $12,000 breakeven
Door Deal
Section titled “Door Deal”Artist payment is based entirely on ticket sales, with agreed splits.
- Example: 70/30 split of door revenue after expenses
Versus Deal
Section titled “Versus Deal”Artist receives the greater of two options — typically flat fee vs. percentage.
- Example: $10,000 vs. 80% of net — artist gets whichever is higher
Creating a Settlement
Section titled “Creating a Settlement”- Open a completed event
- Go to Settlements
- Select the deal type and enter the terms
- Producit calculates the payment based on actual ticket sales and expenses
- Review and approve the settlement
Settlement Workflow
Section titled “Settlement Workflow”| Status | Meaning |

| Pending Approval | Sent to finance for review |
| Approved | Approved — ready for payment |
| Paid | Payment has been issued |
Adjustments
Section titled “Adjustments”Add adjustments for items not covered by the standard calculation:
- Merchandise commission
- Production costs deducted from artist share
- Bonus payments
- Per diem and travel reimbursements
