Rider Extraction

Overview

Artist riders are PDF documents listing everything an artist needs for a show — from dressing room requirements to stage plot specifications. Rider Extraction uses AI to read these documents and pull out structured data automatically.

How It Works

Section titled “How It Works”
  1. Open an event and go to Hospitality or Tech Production
  2. Click Upload Rider and attach the artist’s rider PDF
  3. Producit’s AI reads the document and extracts:
    • Hospitality items — Food, drinks, dressing room requirements
    • Technical requirements — Sound, lighting, staging needs
    • Travel & accommodation — Transportation and hotel needs
    • Personnel — Required crew or support staff

Review & Confirm

Section titled “Review & Confirm”

After extraction, you’re taken to the Extraction Review screen where you can:

  • ✅ Accept correctly extracted items
  • ✏️ Edit items that need adjustment
  • ❌ Remove incorrectly extracted items
  • ➕ Add items the AI missed

Once confirmed, the extracted items populate the event’s hospitality list, tech production setup, and budget automatically.

Accuracy

Section titled “Accuracy”

The AI handles most standard rider formats well. Complex or unusual formatting may require manual correction. The more riders you process, the system notes which patterns need attention.
