Roles & Permissions
Role Hierarchy
Section titled “Role Hierarchy”Producit uses a 7-level role hierarchy. Each role inherits all permissions from the roles below it.
| Role | Level | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Super Admin | 7 | Full system access — manage organizations, billing, all settings |
| Admin | 6 | Manage users, roles, org settings, approve POs, view all financials |
| Project Manager | 5 | Create/manage events, assign crew, manage budgets, approve expenses |
| Finance | 4 | Full financial access — AP/AR, settlements, bank reconciliation, reports |
| Crew | 3 | View assigned events, update availability, submit expenses, use checklists |
| Vendor | 2 | Access Vendor Portal — view POs, confirm availability, submit invoices |
| Guest | 1 | View-only access to shared content (client portal, public event info) |
What Each Role Sees

- Full budget access for their events
- Crew directory and scheduling
- Procurement (quotes, RFQs, POs)
- Reports for their events
Finance Team
Section titled “Finance Team”- Financial dashboard
- All AP/AR across all events
- Settlements
- Bank reconciliation
- Expense approvals
- Financial reports
Crew Members
Section titled “Crew Members”- Events they’re assigned to
- Their schedule and call times
- Checklists for their events
- Their own expenses and profile
Admins
Section titled “Admins”- Everything above, plus:
- User management (invite, deactivate, change roles)
- Organization settings
- Billing and subscription
- Notification and alert configuration
Changing Roles
Section titled “Changing Roles”Only Admins and Super Admins can change a user’s role. Go to Settings → Users, find the user, and update their role.
