Snapshots & History
What Are Snapshots?
Section titled “What Are Snapshots?”Every time a significant change is made to an event — budget updated, crew reassigned, status changed — Producit saves a snapshot. This gives you a complete audit trail of the event’s evolution.
Viewing History
Section titled “Viewing History”- Open an event and go to the History tab
- You’ll see a timeline of every change:
- What changed — which fields were modified
- Who changed it — the user who made the edit
- When — timestamp of the change
- Before & after — the previous and new values
Comparing Versions
Section titled “Comparing Versions”Select any two snapshots to see a side-by-side comparison. This is useful for:
- Understanding how a budget evolved over time
- Tracking who made a last-minute crew change
- Auditing changes before settlement
Restoring a Previous Version
Section titled “Restoring a Previous Version”If a change was made in error, admins can restore a previous snapshot. This reverts the event to that point in time. The restoration itself is recorded as a new snapshot — nothing is lost.
