Creating & Editing Events
Creating an Event
Section titled “Creating an Event”- Navigate to Events and click New Event (or press ⌘N)
- Fill in the event details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The event title — displayed everywhere in the app |
| Date & Time | Start and end date/time for the event |
| Venue / Stage | Which space within your venue |
| Event Type | Concert, festival, corporate, private, theater, etc. |
| Client | Optional — associate with a client for billing |
| Status | Draft, confirmed, cancelled, completed |
- Click Create Event — you’ll land on the event page where you can add budget, crew, and logistics
Editing an Event
Section titled “Editing an Event”Open any event and edit fields directly. Changes are saved automatically. Every edit is tracked in the History tab — you can always see who changed what and when.
Event Statuses
Section titled “Event Statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Event is being planned — not visible to vendors/clients |
| Confirmed | Event is locked in — crew notified, vendors can see POs |
| Cancelled | Event won’t happen — financials are preserved for records |
| Completed | Event has happened — ready for settlement and close-out |
Conflict Detection
Section titled “Conflict Detection”Producit automatically checks for scheduling conflicts when you create or move an event. If another event is already booked in the same venue/stage at the same time, you’ll see a warning before you can confirm.
Archiving Events
Section titled “Archiving Events”Completed or cancelled events can be archived to keep your active event list clean. Archived events are still searchable and all their financial data is preserved.
